They had a 35 percent chance of survival, but now conjoined twin girls have been doing well, separately.
The surgery happened mid-November in Louisville, Kentucky.
The girls, who are 8 weeks old, were joined at the abdomen, sharing a liver and parts of a heart.
According to officials, they have been getting stronger by the day, and their long-term prognosis has been looking good, though they will need more surgeries in the future.
