Officials with the Kentucky State Police said they’re investigating a fatal trooper-involved shooting.

The incident happened around 2:48 p.m. Saturday in Hopkins County, Kentucky when a KSP Trooper was involved in a vehicle pursuit with an ATV. The pursuit ended on Dragline Road.

Authorities said the ATV driver, identified as 23-year-old Dylan R. Whitaker, lost control causing his ATV to overturn.
