A 16-year-old boy was shot to death on a Memphis street early Saturday morning.
The Commercial-Appeal reported the Memphis Police Department was called to the shooting in the Orange Mound neighborhood around 2:20 a.m.
Police spokeswoman Karen Rudolph said officers found the teenager unresponsive. He was taken by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
No suspects have been charged.
The newspaper reported the preliminary investigation indicated the boy was out walking when two men approached and shot him.
