A man has been arrested and issued a citation for shooting and killing a young black bear.
The incident happened Friday afternoon in Smithville.
Authorities said the 46-year old man has been charged with shooting big game outside of season.
DeKalb County does not have a black bear season and hunting black bear has not been allowed there.
