Some furry friends have been rescued in Gibson County, according to the Animal Rescue Corps based out of Washington, D.C.
The group received a tip about poor living conditions among some animals in Trenton.
Ten dogs were rescued from a backyard breeder Thursday. Another seven kittens were removed from a neighboring property.
The rescue operation began when someone purchased a dog from the breeder.
The animals were all safe and sound at an emergency shelter in Lebanon.
