Hundreds of people gathered in Rogersville to welcome 9-year-old Carlie Trent home.
Video of Carlie showed her back home in her yard playing with her sister.
According to those in the town, Carlie and her younger sister wasted no time getting back into the swing of things, spending time racing around the house and playing with the family dog and Carlie's pet rabbit, proudly named Alligator.
Friends, family, and even strangers came together at Rogersville City Park to celebrate Carlie's safe return home.
Carlie has been anxious to get back to school and may even attend class on Monday.
Right now, investigators have been trying to determine what Carlie went through while she was away from home, but for now, the community has been rallying around Carlie and her family while honoring the men who helped to rescue her.
