Stolen Truck Used In Giles County Burglary

Those with the Columbia Police Department said through social media that a stolen truck had been used in a burglary that took place in Giles County.

According to reports, a 2005 Dodge Pickup truck was stolen from a parking lot in the 4000 block of Trotwood Avenue on November 26 in Maury County. The truck was later found destroyed by a fire in Lewis County.

Officials said they discovered the truck had been used in Giles County during a store burglary the same day it was stolen.

Authorities released surveillance video of the burglary online.
