Hundreds of the most outstanding volunteers in the mid-state were honored at the 31st Annual Strobel Awards.
NewsChannel 5's own Rhori Johnston hosted Wednesday's event, where more than 600 volunteers from all over the region were in attendance.
The event helps our community step back for a moment and appreciate those who work so hard inside our neighborhoods.
The awards ceremony honored all volunteers from doctors to community leaders to those involved in schools.
