A female student was injured during an assault on the campus of Austin Peay State University.
Officials with the university said it happened between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. in front of Browning Building near College Street.
The suspect grabbed the woman from behind, injuring her face. She then turned to fight off the attack and the suspect fled towards the Morgan University Center.
Officials asked anyone with information that could help the investigation to give APSU Police a call.
