Math lovers at a local school celebrated Pi Day on Monday, March 14.
The date, 3-14, contains the same numbers as Pi, 3.14, which is the mathematical tool used to figure out the circumference of a circle.
Seventh grade students at Oliver Middle Prep spent part of the day celebrating the number.
In Millie Norwood's class, they measured different sized circles to figure out how Pi really works.
To help celebrate the math lesson, parents brought in more than 30 different types of edible pie!
