NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly put a knife to a woman’s throat during a robbery in Nashville.

The robbery happened on December 4 at a Mapco on Stewarts Ferry Pike. Police said Zachary Hubbard put a knife to a customer’s neck, forced her inside the store and demanded money.

They arrested the 26-year-old Monday evening as he was panhandling outside a Dollar General on Lebanon Pike.

He’s been charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault. Police said he’s also charged with aggravated robbery in another convenience store robbery on December 10.

He also has previous convictions for facilitating robbery and evading arrest in Knox County.

Police said Hubbard, who is homeless, is being held in lieu of $200,000 bond. The investigation continues as to whether he’s involved in other robberies.
