A suspect was captured along the riverbank in Nashville and pulled from the area by a rescue boat.
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, gang units were conducting a search warrant at 2400 Buena Vista.
An officer began chasing a suspect after he fired a gun near the officer. Police said the officer yelled for the man to drop the weapon, but he ran away instead.
During the case, the suspect threw the gun down and ran through a portion of Bordeaux.
An MNPD K-9 caught the suspect on the riverbank of the Cumberland River.
No charges had been filed yet.
