The man suspected of shooting Metro Councilman Loniel Greene appeared in Mississippi court for arraignment.
Brandon Hunt Clark was arraigned on robbery charges. His case was bound over to a grand jury.
Meanwhile here in Nashville, the 19-year-old was accused of shooting councilman Loniel Greene near a gas station in November after Greene appeared to follow two young men onto a side street.
Greene said he followed the pair because he thought he recognized one of them as a family member.
