A suspect has been shot by an official in Burkesville, Kentucky.
The shooting happened Tuesday morning in Cumberland County.
Reports stated the incident began as a traffic stop before the suspect led authorities on a chase, which ended with the shooting. Further details had not yet been released.
Kentucky State Police said no officers were injured. The condition of the suspect was not known.
Both the Burkesville Police Department and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office were part of the investigation.
