NASHVILLE, Tenn (WTVF) — Metro Police say a vehicle was taken at gunpoint from a 64-year-old woman Monday evening.
Police say the incident happened as the woman was pulling into her home on Aaronwood Drive.
The victim told police two teens approached her as she walked from her garage to the mailbox.
One of the teens pulled a pistol on her and told her to give them what she had. The woman told them she didn't have anything on her.
Police say the teens then went to her car, which had her purse inside, and drove away.
The vehicle was recovered Tuesday night in the 400 block of Ewing Drive north of downtown Nashville.
Police say it was abandoned and has been impounded to be processed for evidence.
