NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — TC Restaurant Group partnered with the American Red Cross to open a blood drive on Broadway on Tuesday.

The group operates numerous restaurant venues in downtown Nashville including Tequila Cowboy, Wanna B's Karaoke Bar, FGL House, Jason Aldean's Kitchen and Rooftop Bar and Luke's 32.

Employees and musicians donated at least 50 units of blood, which will be enough to save 150 lives. They were given lunch, a swag bag and a $100 grocery gift card for donating by TC Restaurant Group.

"This is a way we are able to give back to the community and help out our employees a little bit," said Adriana Orsini with TC Restaurant Group. "This is something that we can do during this time. We can't wait to be back up and running, we can't wait for Broadway to be restored to its former glory, but until it's safe to do so, we have to thing of more creative ways to give back to our community."

American Red Cross blood drive trucks were parked outside Jason Aldean's and Luke's 32 on Lower Broadway Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
