BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

CHEATHAM COUNTY

  • Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place. Thursday August 27 through Saturday August 29, 9PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions at MM 190.0 in order to move barrier rail in preparation of a traffic shift.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Resurfacing on US 41 (US 70S/SR 1/Murfreesboro Road) from Transit Avenue to Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Thursday August 27 AND Sunday August 30 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Murfreesboro Road for paving operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River From now through December 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair.
  • One lane will remain open in each direction. DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving of I-40 West Exit Ramp at Church Street Thursday August 27 AND Monday August 31 through Wednesday August 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions near MM 209 in order to install portable barrier wall and portable impact attenuators and to work on proposed overhead sign structure footing in median barrier wall. Friday August 28, 8PM through Monday August 31, 5AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions near MM 209 in order to work on proposed overhead sign structure footing in median barrier wall.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street From now through September 2015, 7AM-5PM, There will be a lane closure on 12th Avenue northbound, including the sidewalk and bike lane, to allow worker access to the median of I-40.
  • From now through September 2015, Clinton Street will be closed between 11th and 12th Avenues for bridge repairs. Detours are in place. From now through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-6AM (excluding weekend), There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between Herman Street and Charlotte Avenue AND between Church Street and the I-40/I-65 split, to remove concrete barrier rail, re-pour the median wall, and allow concrete trucks to enter/exit the media work yard.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike Thursday August 27, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions at MM 90 (near Dickerson Pike/Briley Pkwy exit) to allow for the removal of portable barrier wall and attenuators. Friday August 28, 8PM through Saturday August 29, 5PM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound, from Dickerson Road to Trinity Lane, to allow for barrier wall to be moved and for striping of the roadway.
  • One lane will remain open. Additionally, the I-24 East ramp to I-65 South (Exit 44A) will be closed during this time. Detours will be in place. Also, there will be temporary stoppages of traffic on the I-65 off-ramp to Trinity Lane (Exit 87) to allow for striping of the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • On-Call Signing Thursday August 27, 2015 through Wednesday September 2, 2015, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 eastbound from MM 47.0 to MM 47.2 (near Jefferson Street) in order to excavate and pour sign footing. All lanes will remain open. Monday August 31 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 westbound from MM 50.0 to MM 49.2 (near Shelby Avenue and I-40 split) in order to replace overhead signs. One to three lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES

  • Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pole installation, electrical service work, fiber optic cabling installation, conduit installation/proving/repairs, and staging of overhead sign structures.

MACON COUNTY

  • Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52 Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES

  • SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project Thursday August 27 through September August 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound at MM 93.6 for trenching, boring and conduit installation.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

  • Resurfacing of SR 268 (Compton Road) from US 231 (SR 10) to SR 96 Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 268 in both directions for paving operations. Traffic will be flagged in two-lane sections.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

  • Resurfacing on SR 840 from near I-24 to West Fork Stone River Bridge Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, approximately from MM 53 to MM 55, for various project-end work. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. Friday August 28, 8PM through Monday August 31, 5AM, There will be lane closures on the SR 840 exit ramps to Smyrna and Murfreesboro (Exit 55A and Exit 55B) for concrete pavement repair work. Traffic will be shifted to the shoulder of the ramps. Only one ramp at a time will be affected.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

  • Resurfacing of I-24 from East of SR 840 to Stones River Bridge Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions, from MM 74 to MM 79, AND on the eastbound exit ramp to SR 96 (Exit 78B) for installation of thermoplastic pavement markings. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.

SUMNER COUNTY

  • Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) at Intersection of Stop Thirty Road and Old Shackle Island Road Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary, intermittent lane closure on New Shackle Road at Stop Thirty Road to allow trucks hauling material to enter the roadway and for paving operations. Flaggers will be utilized.

SUMNER COUNTY

  • Installation of Signals on US 31E (SR 6) at SR 25 From now through September 2015, SR 25 (Red River Road) southbound will be closed from Blythe Avenue to US 31E (SR 6) in Gallatin for intersection improvement work. Detours are in place. SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 259 from US 31W (SR 41) to SR 52 Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 259 for chip sealing and micro-surfacing operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

  • Resurfacing on I-65 from the Maury County line to North of SR 840 Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions, from MM 53 to MM 59.5, for striping of the roadway and joint repair work. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. Thursday August 26 through Friday August 28, 8PM-5AM AND Saturday August 29 through Sunday August 30 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on the SR 396 (Saturn Pkwy) ramps to/from I-65, in both directions, for ramp repair work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

  • Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during construction operations as needed.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

  • Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65 Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 248 for paving operations and traffic shifts. Traffic will be flagged.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

  • SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, from MM 28 to MM 30, for bridge conduit installation. Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 840 westbound at MM 34 (Peytonsville Road/Trinity Road), MM 31.5, and MM 28 to MM 30 for bridge conduit installation. Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 eastbound, from MM 28 to MM 35.5 for installation of conduit and poles.

WILSON COUNTY

  •  Interchange Lighting at I-40 and SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road) Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in order to install underground conduit, pull boxes, and pole foundations. All lanes will remain open.

WILSON COUNTY

  • Resurfacing on SR 109 from North of US 70 (SR 24/ Lebanon Road) to the Cumberland River Bridge Thursday August 27 through Tuesday September 1, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for striping of the roadway. Saturday August 29, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for fog sealing shoulders.

Davidson County

  • Thursday, August 27, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on the I-65 southbound ramp from I-40 West (near I-65 MM 82) for paving operations. One lane will remain open.

Dickson County

  • Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-40, from the Hickman-Dickson County line (MM 163) to the Dickson-Williamson County line (MM 180.5), for striping operations.

Giles County

  • Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-65 in both directions, from the Tennessee-Alabama line (MM 0) to the Giles-Marshall County line (MM 22.42), for striping operations.

Sumner County Tuesday September 2, 9PM-3AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 25 near Bledsoe Creek Bridge at Harris Lane for asphalt repair. Traffic will be flagged. Williamson County Thursday August 27 through Wednesday September 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-40, from the Dickson-Williamson County line (MM 180.5) to the Williamson-Cheatham County line (MM 183.6), AND on SR 840, from the Pinewood Road Interchange (LM 7.93) to the Columbia Pike Interchange (LM 21.73) for striping operations. 

Wilson County Thursday August 27, 9PM-3AM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 westbound at MM 240 (near Watertown/Lebanon exit) for an oil spill cleanup.
