NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An 18-year-old Whites Creek High School senior was arrested and charged for bringing a gun onto school property.
A student’s tip said that Michaiah Nelson was carrying a gun in his waistband. Officials investigated and found a gun hidden in the bathroom ceiling behind a ceiling tile.
During the search, Nelson reportedly said “you all must have found my gun."
Nelson is charged with unlawful weapon possession and carrying a weapon on school property. He is being held in lieu of $1,500 bond.
