NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Juvenile Task Force Police officers confiscated three guns from teens in Nashville.

Officers responded to a report of a 16-year-old having guns at his South 8th Street apartment.

Once there, officers smelled marijuana while on the front porch and heard people inside. The 16-year-old’s mother let them inside. During a check of the apartment, three guns, one of them stolen out of Smyrna, were found in a bathroom closet.

The 16-year-old admitted to placing them there. He was charged with three counts of unlawful gun possession and theft. The same teen was arrested at the age of 14 on a charge of criminal homicide for the shooting death of a man in May 2017.
