NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 14-year-old student at East High School was charged after being a gun to school.
School administrators got a tip about the teen having a gun. They responded by searching him and his backpack.
Metro Police officials say the freshman was carrying a .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol loaded with 12 rounds in his backpack in a pencil holder.
They say the teen refused to answer questions about the gun. He was charged at juvenile detention with unlawful gun possession.
