Teen charged in North Nashville accidental shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police said a 17-year-old was charged in connection to an accidental shooting in North Nashville on Saturday.

A 13-year-old boy was shot in the shoulder around 4:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Albion Street, police said. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and was in stable condition by Tuesday.

Police said a 17-year-old boy was sitting on the steps of the home when they arrived. He was taken into custody and charged with reckless aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
