MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 16-year-old was killed in a shooting at Summerlake Apartments in Murfreesboro.
NewsChannel 5 initially reported the incident when it happened Friday, Feb. 15.
On Tuesday, police officials released the victim's age. Police say others involved in the shooting are in their late teens and have been interviewed.
They say investigators have no reason to believe this was a random crime since all parties involved know each other.
