1 of 3 teen escapees surrenders to DCS authorities

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One of three teens who escaped from a Department of Children Services facility surrendered to authorities.

Cornelius D. Reed, 18, surrendered to officials at the Davidson County DCS office Wednesday and has since been jailed. He along with 16-year-old Dyquan Poole and 16-year-old Lacories Howse scaled a fence and ran from the TrueCore Facility on Stewarts Ferry Pike July 24.

He was charged with felony escape and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Both Poole and Howse remain at large. Their arrest histories include aggravated robbery and handgun possession.
