NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Music City was one of eleven stops for the "Teens Drive Smart” program put on by Bridgestone.
Teenagers were paired up with professional driving instructors to learn how to make good decisions behind the wheel.
“How to become smarter drivers,” said Rachel Withers, of Bridgestone and the teen driving program. “They’re learning skills like how to avoid accidents, how to learn to work the ABS braking system. They’re also learning how to combat distractive driving behaviors behind the wheel. They’re learning those good habits that we all need to develop.”
They were expecting some 400 teenagers throughout the weekend.
It was being held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
For anyone didn't get a chance to participate this year, the event was expected to be held again in 2016.
