It is estimated that this year consumers could spend more than $2 billion on the many different varieties of candy that fill store shelves during the holiday season.

It’s because of this that candystore.com has designed a brand-new interactive Candy by State map that highlights the most popular holiday candy in each state across the country.

The results include a bit of everything. Some states prefer classic names in sweets like Snickers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Others, like Tennessee, seem to opt for candy with more traditional roots.

While Starburst candies and Candy Canes came in third and second place respectively in Tennessee, the real winner was a treat that combines chocolate and peppermint in perfect fashion. That’s right, Peppermint Bark took the gold.
