Nashville's latest fitness craze is going to the dogs. It's called Thank Dog Boot Camp and you and your pooch are invited.

It doesn't matter if you have two legs, or four, boot camp with Noelle Blessey is an intense hour or running, weights and obedience training.

"Oh gosh dogs are just so easy to like," said Blessey, "Difficult dogs can absolutely do this and it's a great way to get them desensitized to the things that set them off."

Blessey is new to Nashville. She moved from Los Angeles where dog workout classes are commonplace.

"I always knew that when I picked-up and moved I'd be bringing boot camp with me. I live in east Nashville and am very aware how dog crazy we are here," she said.

Her boot camp is the first of it's kind in Nashville. She said, having a workout buddy, especially one this cute, takes the focus off of yourself.

"You're actually working out, you're actually working hard, but you're having much more fun," she said.

Christie Holdren and her dog, Brody, weren't sure at first.

"I was a little skeptical because Brody is kind of crazy," she said. "But ever since we started coming [Blessey] is so good at helping train him, he's done a good job of learning his commands. This is my forth class and I've already lost five-pounds."
