Thanksgiving Appreciation Dinner Held In Edgehill

Posted

Thanksgiving Dinner came early for people living in the Edgehill community of Nashville.

Representatives of the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency held their first-ever Thanksgiving Appreciation Dinner at the Gernert Studio Apartments.

Several community groups served turkey, greens, and pumpkin pie to residents.

The gathering was also a chance to receive feedback on the Envision Edgehill Process.

“MDHA is asking residents in this area to fill out surveys about what they want to see in the Edgehill apartments and the Gernet studio apartments,” said Colby Sledge, of Metro City Council. “We're in the very, very beginning stages of the Edgehill Envision Process, so we want to get as much input as possible.”

Affordability was a big concern for many residents as they discussed the future of the project.
