NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One of the most iconic rock bands of all time is heading back to Nashville in 2019.

The Who announced dates for their “Moving On!” symphonic tour on Monday morning. The band is playing Bridgestone Arena on May 16.

The tour marks The Who’s first return to the U.S. since their 2017 residency in Las Vegas. This tour will feature orchestral performances with the band, but lead singer Roger Daltrey says fans should still expect the same energy level for which they’re known.

“Be aware Who fans! Just because it's The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it compromise the way Pete and I deliver our music. This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on,” Daltrey said.

Later this year, the band will also be releasing their first new album in 13 years.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 18.
