NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A state trooper was hurt when a drunk driver's vehicle slammed into his SUV.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials say Trooper Vincent Turocy was clocking drivers on Briley Parkway Thursday morning on SR 155 when Maria Carapia side-swiped his cruiser. Police said Turocy is going to be okay.
Officers found a bottle of tequila in Carapia's car. She faces a list of charges including DUI, implied consent, possession of schedule 4, possession of schedule 2 and open container charges.
