Three arrested in methamphetamine drug bust

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three Nashville residents have been arrested following a methamphetamine drug bust. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office conducted the investigation that led to the arrests.

According to officials, the search warrants were conducted this week based on information gathered during an investigation into the sale of meth. The warrants were executed at two locations in Davidson County and one in Rutherford County.

As a result of the investigation and search warrants, Ronald Lynn Vonner, Tavoris Jamane Clark and Tyjel Nicole Lee were all arrested.

In the arrests, various amounts of meth, heroin, marijuana, crack cocaine and prescription pills were seized. Two stolen handguns and some cash were also found.

Each suspect was charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine over 300 grams. All of them were booked into the Rutherford County jail and have a bond of $250,000. The investigation is ongoing.
