Tennessee Titans coach, Mike Mularkey, announced in a Press Conference that an injury will put quarterback Marcus Mariota out of next week's game.
The Titans were set to face the Houston Texans, in which Zach Mettenberger will play in place of Mariota.
Mularkey's announcement came Monday after the National Football League reported that Mariota's knee injury would put him out for the rest of the season.

Mariota left Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with an apparent injury to his right knee after being sacked with about 10 minutes left in the second quarter.
Zach Mettenberger came on to replace him. Mariota missed two games earlier this season with a left knee injury.
NFL reports stated that Mattenberger would take Mariota's place for the rest of the season. However, Mularkey stated during the press conference that Mariota would not play against the Texans, but then be reevaluated for the next and last regular season game.
