Nashville's Tennessee Brew Works brewery has teamed up with one of the largest global distilleries, George Dickel, to create two new brews.
Tennessee Brew Works was approached by George Dickel last year to collaborate on the beer series.
Using George Dickel Number 12 Tennessee whisky barrels, they created an Aged Belgian-Style Quad with notes of caramel, toffee and fig.
The other brew is an Imperial Porter which tastes of dark and bitter chocolate, coffee, and whisky.
The drinks will be available this weekend, but it might be worth it to wait to crack a bottle open.
"These should age for a while. So, you know, drink one now or in the near future, but if you can be disciplined enough please hide one in your refrigerator or let it condition at 50 degrees or less for six months to a year and pop it out later and see how it evolves," said Matt Simpson.
The beers will be available in limited quantities starting this Saturday at noon at Tennessee Brew Works on Ewing Avenue.
