A hearing was held in the Tennessee Supreme Court to decide whether the Nashville mayoral election should be held in May or August.
The Davidson County Election Commission voted to hold the election in August.
However, Mayoral Candidate Ludye Wallace filed a lawsuit, aruging the election should be held in May.
The Tennessee Supreme Court is expected to rule on the issue sometime this week.
