Two toddlers were rushed to the hospital after becoming trapped in a hot car while their mother thought they were napping.
The mom called the Sumner County Sheriff's Office just after noon Wednesday. She said her 2 and 3 year old children were missing from her home on LBJ Court.
She told officials she'd put both of them down for a nap around 10:30 a.m., but woke up to the front door open after she also took a nap.
The toddlers were found two houses down the road, unresponsive, in an car that was unlocked. Once inside, it appeared the kids were not able to reopen the doors.
Officials said they were unresponsive due to heat inside car, and called EMS. The children were taken to Gallatin hospital, and are expected to be okay.
Their temperatures were around 110 degrees.
The mother and boyfriend were expected to be arrested and charged with two counts each of child neglect.
Child Protective Services was called.
