A police traffic stop ended with the car crashing into a home in North Nashville.
Dispatchers told NewsChannel 5 that Metro Nashville Police officers tried to pull over a suspect.
However, rather than stopping the suspect crashed the vehicle into a home then ran away. Officers at the scene said they did not chase the vehicle, and it was unclear why it ran into the house.
After running from the vehicle, police said the suspect went inside the house next door.
The suspect stayed inside that home until police arrived. He then walked out the front door and was taken into custody.
It was unclear what the initial traffic stop was for.
