Train narrowly misses Pennsylvania family on tracks

A rail-cam from Virtual Rail-fan caught a train narrowly missing a family taking pictures along some tracks in Pennsylvania Sunday.

They were on the tracks for about 10 minutes. It wasn't until one of the girls looks over her shoulder and sees a train barreling towards them.

Everyone scatters across the tracks, trying to get to safety. With just seconds to spare, they're able to avoid getting hit.

It served as a reminder that it is illegal to walk on train tracks because they're private property. If you do need to cross, the only safe spot to do it, is a designated public crossing.
