A truck lost its top yet again while driving under an 8th Avenue South bridge.
The tractor trailer tried to drive under the bridge Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m., but the truck was too tall.
Its top was ripped from the truck as it passed underneath the bridge, but didn’t appear to be hauling anything.
One lane of 8th Avenue was blocked while crews cut the mangled pieces from the truck.
Yet, this wasn’t the first 18-wheeler or truck that this has happened to.

Truck Loses Roof After Hitting Nashville Bridge
The roofs of two trucks were torn off in separate instances in January and April of this year, and both of the trucks’ contents spilled onto the roadway, closing it for a short time.
The height bridge is clearly labeled as 12’7.
