NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tuesday marked a milestone in the high-profile Joe Clyde Daniels case.
Although investigators believe the child is deceased, today would have marked his 7th birthday.
Joe Clyde disappeared a year ago April from his Dickson County home. He was only 5 at the time.
The search for his remains continue – sometimes uncovering items of interest. Most recently the discovery of a duffle bag and a hacksaw in a search zone.

Late Monday, Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe confirmed those items are not believed to be related to the case and will not be tested for DNA.
