Metro Nashville Police and Crime Scene Units have responded to two bodies found in a building on Dickerson Pike.
Two people representing the commercial building at 12:27 p.m. Friday.
The bodies were inside a vacant commercial building at 709 Dickerson Pike in Nashville North of downtown Nashville.
Police believed they were the bodies of a 60-year-old homeless man and his 36-year-old girlfriend.
"He lived there. You know after they tore the tire shop down and he didn't have no- he was homeless. He didn't have no where to go so the people who used to own the building let him live in there because he didn't have no where to go," said Jeffery Rucker.
Officials said they were working to identify the bodies which were badly decomposed because of the heat.
The medical examiner was set to make positive identification and determine the cause of death.
