Two teens were sent to the hospital after a shooting at the McFerrin Park Community Center in Nashville.
The shooting happened in the community center's parking lot on Grace Street around 4:30 p.m.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said two men wearing hoodies fired multiple shots in the parking lot of the community center.
Two 17-year-olds suffered non life-threatening injuries - one of them shot in the leg, the other shot in the foot. Both were taken to the hospital.
Metro Parks officials said there were about 20 kids in the building at the time of the shooting but all were moved to safe locations.
Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation Superintendent, Jackie Jones released the following statement:
"Metro Parks is aware of the incident that took place at McFerrin Community Center at approximately 4:30 p.m. this afternoon. Our staff acted quickly to protect the children in the facility. Two teens were reported to have non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital.
Approximately 20 children were in the building at the time. However, they were all evacuated to safe places by staff who followed Emergency Action Plan training. McFerrin Community Center will be closed tomorrow.

Neighbors said the park is popular, and they hoped this was an isolated incident.
"I was surprised," said Stephanie Roth, who lives nearby. "We are out here all the time. We play tennis here. We were saddened to hear two children were hurt."
Metro police said the two male suspects took off in a white car and headed toward Dickerson Pike.
