AMBER Alert canceled after for two kids missing from Clarksville found safe

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tennessee Bureau of Investigation officials have issued an AMBER Alert for two missing children who were have been taken by their non-custodial mother, but it was quickly canceled after they were found in Virginia.

11-year-old Traveon Thompson Junior and 10-year-old Le'Asia Thompson were taken by their mtoher, Jennifer Lewis, Thursday night. They were found in Wytheville, VA Friday night.

The kids had been last seen in their pajamas Thursday at about 5:30p.m. at their home on Cross Ridge Drive.

Lewis was taken into custody, and both children are safe.
