FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two out-of-state men have been arrested after they broke into and stole purses from two cars in Franklin Monday.

According to Franklin police, officers were called to Lifetime Fitness on Carothers Parkway for the break-ins. On both vehicles that had been brokin into, the windows were broken out and the purses inside had been stolen.

Officers were able to get information on the suspects and their own vehicle - a white BMW - thanks to witnesses and parking lot cameras.

A short time later, Franklin police found their white BMW at CoolSprings Galleria.

Security at CoolSprings were able to track the two suspects down inside on camera. They coordinated with Franklin officers, who intercepted the suspects as they exited the mall with bags of merchandise.

The suspects charged about $3,000 on stolen credit cards in less than two hours following breaking into the cars from which they stole.

Franklin police arrested the men, 30-year-old Terry Andrews of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and 30-year-old Jarvis Mangham of Decatur, Alabama. Each has been charged with burglary, theft, vandalism and illegal possession and fraudulent use of a credit card. They are each being held on a $135,000 bond, and are due in court on July 16.
