Under Armour officially opened their third distribution center in the United States after a ribbon cutting at their new facility in Mt. Juliet.
The new facility is a more than 1-million square foot building that has more than 12 miles of conveyors to transport merchandise.
Over the next five years, Under Armour plans to invest over $100-million and create more than 1,500 new jobs.
The facility opened Monday, and one employee said the facility is so large that he walked more than 20-miles while working over the weekend.
In addition to the work areas, there are also places to help make the employee’s working experience more enjoyable, including a full gym and a basketball court/sports area.
Under Armour said on Monday they plan to continue to help this facility grow.
