HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn. – An urn containing a loved one’s ashes was among items stolen from a Humphreys County home during a burglary.
The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. Monday, at a residence on Barren Hollow Road in Hurricane Mills. Officials said three suspects, described as white males, were seen on security cameras.
A new PS4 game system, jewelry and a blue urn that contained the ashes of a deceased family member were stolen from the home.
The suspects left evidence that is being analyzed for DNA and fingerprints. However, officials said that process can take months to get a result from the crime lab.
One of the suspects has a tattoo on his forearm of the numbers “615.”
