KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A University of Tennessee chorus group is touring England and performing in some of the country's historic cathedrals.
The 46-member Chamber Singers are halfway through their 12-day tour.
The group performed a Choral Evensong in Canterbury Cathedral on Wednesday and spent part of the day rehearsing in St. Peter's Anglican Church, where the singers will present a benefit concert.
Proceeds from the event will help restore church windows damaged by Nazi bombs during World War II.
The trip is the third choral sojourn for the group. In 2012, the group traveled to Ireland and Northern Ireland to perform in some that area's most famous cathedrals. The group went to Carnegie Hall in 2007.
