NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two people are in the hospital with injuries after a physical altercation ended in a vehicle crashing into a home on Thursday.

According to police, Alexis Raymond, 35, got into an argument with the victim, the father of her children when he returned home to the 1000 block of Edgehill Drive. When he arrived, Raymond was supposedly upset with him due to Facebook posts she had seen.

Raymond allegedly began hitting the man in the face while he was still inside the car. She was pulled away from him by family members and the victim then drove away in his car.

However, Raymond got into another car and began to follow the victim. Seeing that she was behind him, the victim sped up but was struck from behind by Raymond's vehicle at the same time.

His vehicle rolled over and crashed into a home in the 900 block of 9th Ave S.

Witnesses confirmed that Raymond was the driver who rammed into the back of the victim's car. She has now been charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Driving Without a License.

Both Raymond and the victim were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
