Students and staff participated in Vanderbilt University’s first ever Giving Day.
In just 24 hours, more than $6,100 alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff raised more than $1.3 million.
All of the donations went toward scholarships, research projects, and new programs at the university.
Organizers hoped to make Giving Day a new Commodore tradition.
