FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A video from police showed a close call when a patrol car was hit.
That officer was at home resting after the incident.
The officer was assisting a stranded motorist on Interstate 65 and Peytonsville Road Tuesday night.
The video showed the tow truck driver had just hooked the car and gotten back into the cab when 52-year-old Elizabeth Dorgan of Murfreesboro side-swiped the patrol car.
Dorgan was cited for disobeying the Move Over Law and not having proof of insurance.
Thankfully in this case, police said no one was seriously hurt.
