Video of the rescue of a 13-year-old girl at Cummins Falls has been released.
It happened May 31, at the popular state park.
The 13-year-old was out with her church group. She couldn’t swim, and somehow her life jacket slipped off.
NewChannel 5 spoke to four teenagers who found the girl and pulled her to safety, then helped revive her while rescuers arrived.
The video shows Tennessee Highway Patrol crews load her onto a board and hoist her up to a chopper.
She was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
