A Nashville man, who police described as a violent sex offender, was arrested at church on Easter Sunday.
Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department said they were called to Christ the King Catholic Church, where it was said William Michael Frankenbach was attending the Easter Service.
Frankenbach was wanted out of Cumberland County for solicitation of a minor.
Officers found him in the sanctuary, where several teens and children were present, in a corner out of the view of most people.
Frankenbach is a registered violent sexual offender in Nashville and failed to report for December 2016. Offenders are required to report yearly each March, June, September, and December.
